Ichigo Hitofuri Dont Talk to Me or My 14 Brothers Again
◀
Anonymous asked: How about Yamanbagiri and Mune-jiji having a random midnight talk with his saniwa who has troubles sleeping because of nightmares? Finally I found a touken ranbu drabble blog <3
He found you sitting on the citadel porch, a blanket draped around your shoulders while your eyes was somehow lost in staring at the stars that twinkled above.
He was never one to approach first, no one needed him anyway, he was just a replica - a mere duplicate and nothing of better than the original. But at this point, it was tempting to ask you as to why are you still wake in such a late hour. His fingers clutched the white fabric that covered his replicated shame-with careful steps and slow movements he tried to get near you.
"If you want to talk, do it normally, Yamanbagiri-kun," you chuckled, and for the first time by that night you looked at him in his eyes. Though your lips curved into a smile, your eyes showed…something opposite.

"I am Ichigo Hitofuri. I am the only tachi crafted by Awataguchi Yoshimitsu. The Toushirous are my younger brothers."
"Bubblegum."
His bright, golden eyes can only stare back at you.
And blinked.

Anonymous asked: Scenario of a single parent saniwa who has to raise their child among the swords. Hijinks ensue (Jirou giving the kid sake, accidentally bringing aruji's child to sorties oops, tsurumaru, etc) , but there are plenty of heartwarming moments too (capable big and tiny nii-sans)
Being a mother is really difficult. You must be there to support your child and fulfill his needs and grant his wishes; all in general, it is a tiring job – let alone if you're raising your son alone.
At this point in time you did not understand why you were chosen to the job. The reason is unclear – the gods must have hated you or something. You're already having a very difficult time with raising your son – why add up to fulfill a mission of peace back in the ancient time?
Everything was a blur – all you knew was that you were instructed to seek peace within a specific time; in which your companion will be personified well known swords throughout the history. A t first you didn't understand how did that go – but as you move further you slowly realized what it meant.
Along with you was your beloved child. It was impossible for you to leave him alone; so you brought him with you in the citadel. You knew leaving your son alone in the citadel would cause further trouble, most likely in the son's part. You understand how much of a trouble each and every man is inside, but you had your trust in them. Well, at least, you knew that they would do no harm to your kid.
But some scenarios are just…too much to not forget.

Anonymous asked: Do the toudans celebrate birthdays? What would they do for the saniwa's or another toudan's?
Indeed, Toudans celebrate birthdays.
As a caring Saniwa, when you forged a new one – the day they had been under your care is what you assign as their 'birthday'.
Some of them may actually think of it as pathetic, but most of them actually appreciated the said deed.
The little tantous would be excited regarding the matter, though Midare and Yagen would be mature enough not to rejoice that much. When it's their 'birthday' already, they would celebrate it with kids party-like celebration, with Ichigo invited of course. Even Hotarumaru and Urashima would be invited, and if the other swords are available, the little ones would pull them to join.
With the Wakizashis, on the other hand, they would just thank their Saniwa for the deed, saying that they appreciate it so much, maybe with a little gathering of everyone available for food.
The rest of the sword types (excluding Iwatooshi), Uchigatana, Tachi, Oodachi, Yari, would be mature about the matter. They will just regard their thanks and even though you persuade them to celebrate it even with just a small gathering with the others, they would be hesitant about it, saying that fulfilling your mission would be more important. (In the end, you prepared something for them – thus, a small celebration in the citadel. Along with sake.)
(Jiroutachi would be delighted on the other hand, and throw off a sake party. Then he'd ask you every day it it's his birthday.)
Iwatooshi, on the other hand, would be crashing on every party, and even though you told him so many times that he had his own birthday, he would constantly ask you even so – and that you should cook more rice for him.
Apologies.
Sorry for the lack of updates. Lately, we've been praying to Lord Ishikirimaru for a good internet connection, yet it seems like the sword satan is meddling in his way.
For now we are trying our best, trying to save drafts without error.

Anonymous asked: Saniwa's reaction to jiji's first words out of the kiln after many months of hard smithing: "Ahahaha! It's okay, it's okay, you can touch me."
With a long weary sigh, you gave the last batch of resources required for smithing to the Kaji. It has been months but still, no trace of that one sword (you'd really like to get) can be seen. You tried everything, battling the enemies settling in the last map to the point where it got infected with the Kebiishi after all the boss battles you went through. With an apologetic look on their face, the Kaji placed their hand on your shoulder, reassuring you that someday, the old sword would find his way home.
"Mikazuki Munechika. They call me Mikazuki on account of the many patterns on my blade. Please take care of me."
All you did was stare. Perhaps blink for a few moments, thinking it was all just a dream.
"Ahahaha! It's okay, it's okay, you can touch me."
He spoke! Your hallucination spoke! Sitting down on the nearest stool, you began massaging your temples. Just… inhale and exhale, everything will be fine after you
"Aruji?"
"Ack!"
"A-Ah! Aruji-sama, why are you crying?"
No words can interpret the emotions you were feeling at that very moment. He is real… he isn't just a myth. Without a second thought, you came running towards him and tackled him into a hug, sobbing and clinging like a long lost child who got reunited with their mother.
He pulled you closer, chuckled and whispered the words, "I am home, Aruji-sama… I am here for you."

Anonymous asked: Can I request a situation in which Jiroutachi is helping Midare with clothes/makeup since he's older and more experienced? Not shippy, just friendly and cute^^ I like your blog a lot!
ah thank you so much!
"No, that does not match at all, Midare-chan… Hmm, I guess this would do! Try this on!"
The Oodachi almost squealed as he rose up the skirt in his hand – and a wide smile was tugging on his lips as he did. Meanwhile, Midare slumped as this was probably his fifth time changing skirts to match his laced white blouse. Nevertheless, he took the velvet blue skirt from Jiroutachi's hands and replaced the one he's wearing now with it.
Midare puffed the skirt when he's done changing and turned around, letting the skirt flew a little and cutely posed in front of the Oodachi.
"So, what about this, Jirou-nee? Does it match with my top now?"
Jiroutachi stared at the young man for a moment, his eyes trailing from top to bottom; examining every detail like a fashion judge. His lips quirked as his thumb fumbled with his hands under his chin, and after a few minutes of silence, he sighed.
Midare pouted.
"Does it not fit again, Jirou-nee?"
Jiroutachi shook his head.
Midare sighed. "I guess I'll change again…"
"Who said?"
Blue eyes gazed over the older one's face, a confused expression painted all over his face. Jiroutachi gazed back, but then a bright grin suddenly appeared from his lightly painted lips. "It's almost perfect, Midare-chan! All that's left is this!" The blond felt something being wrapped around his thin hips - a thin, black belt that would perfectly match his outfit.
Jiroutachi clapped his hands in satisfaction with his finish. "Ah, now it's perfect! It suits you really well, Midare-chan! You look so lovely!"
Midare looked at himself in front of a mirror and smiled – thank the gods for having a wonderful brother within the castle. "I look pretty!" He turned around to wrap his arms around the taller one's waist, while the other instinctively returned the younger one's embrace by patting his head. "Thank you, Jirou-nee!"
Jiroutachi could only laugh and reply, "Ah, you're welcome, Midare-chan~!"

Anonymous asked: if Ishikirimaru is sword jesus then who is sword maria. who is sword satan
tourabuconfessions:
I suppose this is a genuine question and not a confession. Well, let me answer that question as well as I can.
If Maria is Jesus' mother, then obviously, Sword Maria should be Ishikirimaru's mother. Alas, it seems Ishikirimaru doesn't have an actual, official mother, unless his smith was actually a woman and I've never been informed about it. It is also impossible to assume that Sword Maria is one of the other swords, because if we completely disregard possible gender headcanons regarding the swords' gender (which actually hurts me, as Lord knows I love the idea of Midare Toushirou being a trans girl and will defend it with my life), there is virtually no female sword in Touken Ranbu. DMM and Nitroplus are Touken Ranbu's creators, meaning that officially, Sword Maria is either DMM or Nitroplus.
As for Sword Satan… well, there are a lot of possibilities for that. It could be Kane-san as he's the leader of the Unholy Sword Drop Trinity composed of himself, Shokudaikiri and Ookurikara. It could be Yamabushi because of his occult KAKAKA powers. It could also be Jiji because he never comes home at the right hour, making you wonder if he once again spent time at your local gay strip bar, busy diving deeper into his lustful past-times instead of doing things you would usually expect from a grandpa sword. The official Sword Satan is still unnamed, therefore debates on who should be Sword Satan are open.

Anonymous asked: First of all - thank you for making this blog! The writing is really nice and adorable^^ and to the request - Kousetsu was training with group of small tantous once and now they all like him a lot and keep calling him "big brother". How he would react?
hello! you're welcome and thank you as well! messages like this makes us super happy! (っ^▿^)💨
It is rare for the oldest Samonji to draw his sword – for he greatly believed that fights could be resolved with diplomatic resolutions if talked first . Yet, as he was, and still is – part of the sent Saniwa's men, he had no choice. He needs to fight, and take his master's orders seriously to complete their mission.
But on the other hand, outside the battlefield where it reeked of blood and sweat, two young tantous came up to him as he was peacefully drinking his tea while watching the cherry blossoms bloom on the wooden engawa on his resting day.
"Kousetsu-san~!" The pale, long-haired tantou called to him excitedly, his eyes were almost sparkling as he observed. "On the last sortie we had, you were amazing! Really, really, really amazing!" Imanotsurugi practically jumped, while the red haired boy beside him grinned to him as well.
"Yeah, you're super cool out there! How'd you do that?" Aizen asked, his hands were placed above his head. "Teach us how, Kousetsu-san!"
His drowsy eyes were laid on the young swords' as well – do they have an idea that he was totally against the idea of violence at all? Was it not obvious that he was trying to avoid the circumstances of fighting?
"Well, Kousetsu-san?"
"Kousetsuuu-sannnn pleaseeee?"
He remained silent and tried to get back with his meditation, but with such pleads of the young children, how could Kousetsu say no?
"Those who want to help the country go forward can do so by helping the children to develop properly and in the right way [1] ."
While he was a pacifist and all, training the little ones would have something to benefit in making their mission a complete success – thus he stood up from his seat and sighed, while the two squealed in excitement as they head for their training grounds.
The noise the two were making somehow attracted the other tantous to join, as well as his little brother Sayo, although he just stood there and observed. On the other hand, the other short swords, namely Akita, Atsu, Maeda, and Hirano – who are the young Toushirous – joined the activity as well.
He taught them of the proper way of handling their respective blades, and some basic body formations that can be used during battles. The little ones complied and obediently followed his instructions, and deep inside he felt like it was near nirvana at all.
"Kousetsu-nii~!! Teach us again once more!"
"Oniisama, please train us again!"
"Please, Kousetsu-niisan! We will do our best today as well!"
Hearing such words were like a chiming bell, although in high pitch they were soft and endearing, as to the eldest Samonji's ears. At bliss he was ever since, although little Sayo had been clinging to him most of the time now, Kousetsu Samonji could not help but tug a small, yet soft smile on his lips, as he grabbed the young tantous' hands together for another day of training.
